Black Cow Vodka

A premium British vodka made from… milk??
Not nut, soya, or oat, good old fashioned cow juice.
Yes, I know ‘British Vodka’ already doesn’t sound right.
But it’s the smoothest vodka you’ll ever taste.
It's so different… Yet it was too easy to be like the others fighting to be noticed in a world of Vodkas.
Black Cow needed to be on the outside of the category looking in.
But with a minuscule budget.
We aimed to challenge what people thought of as Vodka (and cows for that matter).
So with an eerie, playful, subversive tone we made some cows look menacing and cool.
The launch was two pronged. A week of unbranded posters of menacing cows. Then with branding added. Socially it caused a stir.
You’ll never look a cows in the same way again.
