If you ever listened to XFM, the breakfast show was one of the most entertaining, odd and fun shows on the station. Working with host Christian O’Connell, we captured that in posters. We had in-depth discussions about “Do sharks hate jazz?” “Are babies just mini drunks?” “What happened to the white dog poo?” When Christian wasn’t sure we’d ask producer Karl Pilkington for his thoughts. Throw in working with HarrimanSteel on typography and illustration, seeing the public’s reaction to the posters all over London, and breaking Xfm’s 700,000 weekly listeners make, it was all thoroughly enjoyable, even more so when it picked up a few awards.
